Fellow Quins,

I am very pleased to announce that the end of the 16/17 season will see the seniors go on their first tour since 2010. Being the rare mix of social animal and cultural glutton that we all are, a befitting location needed to be sourced. Somewhere that we can ply our exciting brand of rugby, drink until the wee hours and shake our hangovers off in the many spas and museums on offer. Having scoured my atlas for many an hour (shut my eyes and randomly placed my finger over a map of Europe), I think you'll agree Budapest is an ideal destination.

The tour will take place over the weekend of 19th, 20th and 21st May 2017 and will see us playing against the Budapest Exiles on the Saturday. There will be many other excursions arranged, as well as plenty of free time to take in all the city has to offer.

The cost of the tour has been set at £250. This will include flights, transfers, accommodation, tour stash (of course), and a healthy beer kitty.

In addition to this, the RFU hold a raffle that is designed to raise funds for clubs while offering some incredible prizes. Each tourist will be asked to sell £50 worth of raffle tickets in order to receive tour stash. 90% of what is sold stays at the club so this will greatly effect what stash we can offer, and I'm sure we can all agree that offloading 50 raffle tickets is not a big ask.

A deposit of £100 is required by 15th November to secure your place on tour, with additional increments of £50 payable in December, January & February. Places are very limited so get in early or miss out! If you want to be particularly helpful, you can also pay the full amount up front. This will allow me to book everything much sooner, meaning better flights, cheaper flights, and in turn, a bigger beer kitty!
