HARLEQUIN AMATEURS - RECRUITING NOW FOR SEASON 10/11 - WHY NOT JOIN US?
2009/10 saw the introduction of Mini Rugby to our club, run as a joint partnership with St. Mary's University College. We attracted 80 children in our inaugural season, a mixture of great coaching and a rugby ethos based on fun and inclusion for all meant that our Sunday sessions were well attended and our fixture list with like minded rugby clubs grew rapidly. We are delighted to announce that we are also starting youth rugby during the 2010/11 season with our excellent group of Under 12's becoming our Under 13's - we hope to bolster this age group with some new recruits!
The 2010/11 mini and youth season kicks off at Broom Road, Teddington, TW11 9BE (opposite the TV Studios) on Sunday 5th September - we hope you can join us.
Our senior club continues to grow steadily and we now run 3 teams most weekends. Our 1st XV play in the highly competitive Herts / Middx Leagues, our 2nd XV play in the Middlesex Merit Table and our Vets XV play in the Surrey Vets league.
Pre Season kicks off on Tuesday 13th July - with 10 weeks of Tuesday night conditioning with Gregg Marsh - www.greggmarsh.com if you lack fitness at the start, Gregg will have you on the money for the start of our season. Thursday nights will be taken by the club's experienced coaching team.
We are always on the lookout for new players of all standards who wish to wear the most iconic rugby colours in club rugby, so if you want to join us please get in touch - you'll find a warm welcome.
Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7.30pm SHARP at the superb St. Mary's College facilities on Waldegrave Road, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, TW1 4SX (2 mins from Strawberry Hill BR).
