Big plans for our 150th anniversary season

Pre-season training for the Seniors is on Tuesday nights at 7:15pm at Teddington Lock. The pitches are opposite the Anglers pub on Broom Road (TW11 9NR).

Next season marks the 150th Anniversary of Harlequins and a re-strengthening of the relationship between the Professional and Amateur clubs.

Next season we will be wearing the most iconic version of club rugby’s most iconic shirt as every Quins player from under 5 to Pro runs out in a commemorative 150th anniversary kit.

In addition, the key change will be the sharing of coaching practices as Brian Holland (one of the pros’ most experience Community Coaches) will now oversee coaching for the entire Amateur club.

Brian’s first role will be leading Pre-season and thanks to his close links with the Pros, Brian has been able to ensure that we train in the same ways as the Pros.

Pre-season will start on Tuesday 5th July at 7:30pm sharp on the all-weather pitch at Teddington Lock.

The first four weeks include a session with the Pro’s Academy Coach (and former Quin) Jim Evans and a visit to Surrey Sports Park to watch the Pros train.

All senior players (whether new or returning) are invited to come and have a beer with Brian at The Waldegrave Arms at 7pm on Wednesday June 29th where he will be giving the lowdown on his plans for the coming season.
