On Saturday morning members from Harlequin Amateurs U12 and U14 Girls teams repped the quarters at Bushy Park Parkrun, along with our cluster partners from Teddington RFC.

On Women’s World Cup semi-final weekend, ahead of the England v France match, our intrepid girls and some supportive parents enjoyed a shout out from the Run Director getting girls and women’s rugby headlined at the near-1600 person weekly event, run in our shared home of Bushy Park.

Lots of supportive encouragement before, during and after the 5km run helped our runners reach their goal on a warm and pleasant morning, before tucking into some wonderful home-baked cakes to celebrate.

Our crew all returned home with smiles on their faces looking forward to the rest of their rugby weekend - the much anticipated England game, before heading to their own matches and festivals on Sunday.
