As all our members know, Harlequin Amateurs link to the professional club is a huge source of pride and an important part of our heritage. Being featured on the sleeve of the Harlequins famous quartered home shirt is a perfect way for us to kick off what promises to be an amazing season with the 1st XV at home (at Staines RFC) v Haslemere and the pros at home 28th September v Newcastle Falcons.

We aren’t the only club affiliated to Harlequins, but we are the only club to share their name and the exciting style of rugby known as TRUE (tempo, relate, unconventional and enjoyment). We’ll be looking at TRUE in greater depth in another post.

All of our players love wearing kit that reflects our special bond with Harlequins and next time our Mini and Youth players form the guard of honour at The Stoop, they’ll be standing beside professional plays who are returning the favour.
