Training session at Grasshoppers

A great session this Sunday travelling to Grasshoppers' new and fantastically well appointed facility at Syon lane. After an initial warm up, the primary focus was on a series of rucking exersises, developing the rucking techique and improving ball retention. The mixed session then worked on exploiting the 2 vs 1 attacking situation, learning to identify and create the opportunity for the overlap.

The session was wrapped up with a series of Grasshoppers and Quins mixed games, putting into practice the exercises the we practised in the first part of the session. Grasshoppers were excellent hosts providing a very enjoyable morning of rugby training - topped off with some well deserved hot dogs at the end!
